Nicole, check out my show Mondays at 7 PM or the archives, I have interviewed some extremely interesting Pittsburghers on Positively Pittsburgh Live. You can listen to archived shows at: http://www.talkshoe.com/talkshoe/web/tscmd/tc/18520

Although one of my other shows, Professionals with Impact has a more national flavor, you can also find some interesting guests at this address in archived shows: http://www.talkshoe.com/talkshoe/web/tscmd/tc/33431. Most of the show notes are at: professionalswithimpact.blospot.com to help you determine who is from Pittsburgh.

On Talk Shoe, you can also check out a show called Gourmet Eaters by Positive Pittsburgher, Greg Matthis, he's got some interesting restaurant owners on his show with great stories to tell.
Just wanted to let you know, so glad to have you here and also have someoen else who is doing something to spotlight Pittsburgh, it's a wonderful City. I wish you bounteous blessings on your new endeavor. Please feel free to call if I can help in any way.
thank you so very much!!! i apprc. that more than you know
I network with some people who made it on the "40 under 40" in Pittsburgh this year. Especially Chaz Kellem - I think if you did a piece on him that would be awesome.

Let me know if you are interested in finding out more information.

*** I also have a few more ideas we may discuss if interested in them as well.

Nicole,

Check out the history of "Evergreen Hamlet" in Ross Township.  It is considered by many historians to be the oldest suburban housing plan in America. Those that founded it would be great historical characters that a writer might tie into today's modern innovative Pittsburgh personalities.

Pittsburgh is a great place  to live...and we have some many people doing so much to make our place a great place to be.

One person who is interesting to me is Bonnie di Carlo, a good friend, savvy business woman, community advocate and poltical activist and co-founder of the Women of Achievement Awards.  Bonnie has done so much good for so many it would be hard to put it all down.  She would be fantastic story on what makes Pittsburgh tick.
