Profile Information

Hometown: Pittsburgh
Collier Township
Relationship Status:
Married
About Me: Please include your name.
I am a mother of 4. I left my career in healthcare at the end of 2001 to care for my son Samuel who had a recurrent brain tumor and my 2 daughters. Samuel lived a wonderful life, but passed away in November 2003 when he was 3 years, 9 months old. A year later some friends and I established the Samuel J Foundation in his memory. Our mission is to bring hope and healing to kids with brain tumors and other cancers, and to support the needs of kids with developmental disabilities. My daughters are now 10 and 12, and help me to carry on Sam's legacy. In 2006, I was blessed to become mom to another beautiful son who I'm sure will have a big part in Sam's legacy as well.
