Nominate a Steeltown Heroto be honored on special edition of PositivelyPittsburghLive and at panel of Entrepreneurial Thursdays on October 22, 2009
Positively Pittsburgh Live Talkcast and Entrepreneurial Thursdays has teamed up to honor 5 Steeltown Heroes. The Steeltown Heroes is a segment on Positively Pittsburgh Live where I talk about normal, everyday people in Greater Pittsburgh Area doing extraordinary things in the non-profit world or to help others.
Each of the nominees if appropriate to qualifications will be mentioned in the Positively Pittsburgh Live News with a brief profile for the shows the balance of this year and into January if there are enough nominees.
The five most impressive "heroes" will be interviewed on a Special Edition of PositivelyPittsburghLive and also at a panel at Entrepreneurial Thursdays on October 22, 2009.
Deadline for nominees is Midnight, September 19, 2009. Please send about 100 word profile on why you think the individual is a hero, the group or individuals they are helping and contact info, e-mail and phone number for this person.
Qualifications:
Cannot be a for profit effort.
Must not have been previously featured in the news.
Please contact them as they must be willing to be interviewed.
Individual must live within 30 mile radius of Pittsburgh.
